MS killing off Internet Explorer

According to The Verge, Microsoft is killing off Internet Explorer, and will introduce a new browser codenamed Project Spartan which does not have a new name yet.

Internet Explorer will still exist in some versions of Windows 10 mainly for enterprise compatibility, but the new Project Spartan will be named separately and will be the primary way for Windows 10 users to access the web.

If as the codename suggested, the new browser could be focused on simple approach, similar to Chrome.

OS X 10.10.2 Yosemite released

OS X Yosemite

Apple has released second Yosemite update, bring the version to OS X 10.10.2. This update fixed a WiFi connection issue, and added support for browsing iCloud Drive content in your Time Machine backups.

The 10.10.2 update also improved VoiceOver speech performance, fixed an issue where Spotlight would load remote email even when it was set to not do so, improved video and audio sync for Bluetooth headphones, improved webpage loading performance, and improved Safari stability.

Apple also included several security-related fixes in the Yosemite update, and they're available in a separate security update for OS X Mavericks.

iOS 8.1.3 released

iOS 8

Apple released iOS 8.1.3 to iPhone 4s and later, iPod touch (5th generation) and later, iPad 2 and later.

This release includes bug fixes following issues:
Reduces the amount of storage required to perform a software update
Fixes an issue that prevented some users from entering their Apple ID password for Messages and FaceTime
Addresses an issue that caused Spotlight to stop displaying app results
Fixes an issue which prevented multitasking gestures from working on iPad
Adds new configuration options for education standardized testing

Satya Nadella is Microsoft's new CEO

Microsoft has announced its new CEO: Satya Nadella, the man in charge of Microsoft's cloud computing services. He is taking on the new role immediately. Company founder Bill Gates is stepping down as Chairman to be replaced by John Thompson.

Satya Nadella joined Microsoft in 1992, he has been working in the company's servers and tools business, as well as developing the cloud system to support Xbox, Bing, Office and other services.
Bill Gates' new job title at Microsoft is Board's Founder and Technology Advisor.
