The Camino Project ( caminobrowser.org ) has decided to end the development of Camino browser.
Mozilla's Firefox moved to rush releasing cycle, and it seems like the volunteers at Camino Project simply could not catch up with the rushing pace. The last Camino browser was version 2.1.2, released in mid March 2012.
The open-source Mac-only browser written with Mozilla's rendering engine but featured a totally native OS X interface. This interface was pretty noticeable in the early days, even when it was known as Chimera which started in February 2002.
