1 Feb, 2004

According to this TheRegister report, "Microsoft is very nice to Welsh language." Is it? A step after open source Linux group?

Let me bring you another point arise from this report. What happened to Maori? Maori is an official language in New Zealand. Few years ago, Microsoft selected New Zealand for testing its Activation service in Office application before implementing it worldwide.

Personal comment: very unfair. (SillyDog701 Message Centre thread)

Hi Antony:
I think that Maori isn't the primary language in N.Z. however, Welsh or the Gaelic language is quite common in Wales and I believe is still the primary language in many parts of Wales. The Prince of Wales, [Prince Charles] speaks Welsh.

However, the English language seems to be taking over in Wales too.
Besides I am partial to Welsh.
In Welsh my family name is Brannagh. :)
