4 Apr, 2006Microsoft now offers Virtual Server 2005 R2 Enterprise Edition for free, you can download it or order it from this Microsoft page. This software was previously charged at US$99 for up to four physical processors or $199 for an unlimited number of processors. Cnet News.com noted that the announcements were made in conjunction with the LinuxWorld conference in Boston this week. Users can use Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 Enterprise Edition to host Linux operating systems.
