New features in version 3 include:
OpenOffice.org 3.0 is free and can be downloaded from OpenOffice.org website. OpenOffice.org is available for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and Solaris. Join our discussion - “OpenOffice.org 3.0 released! it's free!” at SillyDog701 Message Centre.
The full feature list will be available at OpenOffice.org website after this ‘unprecedented demand’. OpenOffice.org 3.0 Beta was released in early May, and the 3.0 final version was originally expected to be released in mid September. OpenOffice.org 3.0 Writer: OpenOffice.org 3.0 for Mac requires Intel processor and it is native which means no Unix X11 environment is required, the PowerPC version is still 2.4.
