According to The Register, the highly anticipated Windows 10, due to release on 29th July 2015, has a new Licensing Agreement has made itself the same practice as Google Chrome browser, updating itself, like it or not. On the other hand, Mozilla Firefox, apart from rushed out releases, it also updates itself under default setting, however users can still choose to delay the update.

The Licensing Agreement for Windows 10, as found in the latest release candidate build 10240 of Windows 10 Professional, states:
Heaven for those (extremists) who must have the latest of the latest. The Register pointed out the potential issue:
The downside is that feature upgrades can potentially break applications, or drivers for peripherals such as printers and scanners.
Unless you are a business running the Enterprise Edition of Windows, then you can have some choices on delaying yourself from being forced updating.
