Year 2002 Review

Year 2002 has been a great year for SillyDog701. Let's take a look back about this great year.

(This is a backdated entry, taken from SillyDog701 year 2002 review thread from Message Centre.)

Early this year, SillyDog701 shifted to a new webhosting company. With this moving, SillyDog701 enjoys larger diskspace, faster transfer speed, and larger traffic bandwidth.

Some features were added to SillyDog701, such as SillyDog701 Sidebar, WAP, new internal search engine, ... etc.

In June, SillyDog701 added an independent FTP server ( ftp://ftp.sillydog.org/ ), and hence to provide better service for downloading files, in particular, Streamline series.

In July, the most exciting part of SillyDog701 is this new forum, based on phpBB 2.0.x with a number of unique customisations to suit our community.

Netscape Browser Archive survived for another year. Not just surviving, but there were also a new improved design in parallel with the new SillyDog701 design.

The traffic of SillyDog701 has grown dramatically during this year. I would like to thank everybody's support during this year. All feedbacks, including suggestions, opinions and even complaints, are very valuable to me and the growth of SillyDog701.

SillyDog701 will of course look for new possibilities to expand the services to all. Let's wish a peaceful new year.
