Message Centre registration process updates

SillyDog701 Message CentreIn order to combat spammers and spambots, we have no choice but need to change the registration process a bit. All new members must agree to our rules and policies and state he/she is not a spammer. This change shouldn't affect any new members signing up.

We always welcome new members. As a bonus for registered member, registered members will see be less advertisments.

Recently, we introduced registration for posting comments in our website.

SD701 Open Directory relocates

Last month, we re-introduced SD701 Open Directory. Due to the popularity of it, we decided to create s new subdomain for it,

The new url for SD701 Open Directory will enable us to provide better service all our users. We do not just copy the directory from Open Directory Project (, we also enhance it, to make it easier to use and providing more content.

Besides the new URL, we've also upgraded the script we use. All links to the old URL will be automatically redirect to our new URL.

6.5 million hits

We have a great news to report, our March 2006 traffic result showed another great traffic record. We had 6.49 million hits last month. This is our tenth time in a row that we had more than 5 million hits in a month. SillyDog701 would like to thank everybody's support. Recently, we opened SD701 Open Directory, we are still on our way to increase the service to all.

MS Virtual Server 2005 R2 Enterprise Edition is now free

Microsoft now offers Virtual Server 2005 R2 Enterprise Edition for free, you can download it or order it from this Microsoft page. This software was previously charged at US$99 for up to four physical processors or $199 for an unlimited number of processors. Cnet noted that the announcements were made in conjunction with the LinuxWorld conference in Boston this week.

Users can use Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 Enterprise Edition to host Linux operating systems.
