Movable Type 4.0 is out and open!

Movable Type 4The Movable Type team has made significant improvements and added dozens of new features to the web-publishing/blogging platform, Movable Type 4.

Movable Type 4 is open source and free to personal users.

A few years back, Movable Type lost a number of users (especially open-source extremists) due to the fee charging license introduced. Most of them switched to WordPress, due to peer pressure. The new Movable Type is now open, and free to Personal users.

Adobe will remove Send to FedEx Kinko's in 10 weeks

Adobe Reader 8.1 Send to FedEx KinkoEver since the release of Adobe Reader 8.1, there's a “Send to FedEx Kinko's” button as well as accessible from File menu. Adobe will remove this button in about 10 week's time, Adobe's senior vice president of Creative Solutions Business Unit John Loiacono explains.

They can't simply go back to 8.0 release since version 8.1 included a lot of critical security and quality updates in addition to the new print option. The most logical solution is to move forward for an 8.1.1 update.
