That's not strictly true since Mosaic (developed by Marc Andreesen who in 1994, together with Jim Clark, formed Netscape Communication Corporation) was released in 1993

Mosaic may have been from 1993, but the first Netscape Navigator was released in 1994.

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

Hi,
It has not been updated since 1997.
Internet Explorer is based off it.

Greg:
That Netscape site is quite interesting.
I have never seen it before....
I first got on the Internet in early 1996. All the stores had Netscape as the browser then, not included in Windows tho'

I remember learning about computers a few years earlier,
before Windows 95. It was probably in the eighties.
We used to type Print, List, Rem, I forget what I learned, but I think name was there also.
What was that for anyway? It was an evening course I was taking and then after a few weeks I dropped out, I decided to go to Florida instead.
I guess I was bored, I remember the teacher didn't know what he was doing. He was telling us to do this or that and then he would say, I'm sorry, that was for the Mainframe which I usually teach.
He was getting all confused himself...so I went south.
