"DSO Exploit" Recurring

Postby Don_HH2K » Fri 24 Sep, 2004 9:19 pm

I downloaded Spybot a long time ago, and have noticed that "DSO Exploit" always showed up in the list. So, I ran the test after cleaning everything, and found that it was still there. I also performed the test without the PC connected to the Internet, to make sure it didn't re-download itself, didn't happen. I also installed Ad-Aware, that wasn't able to fix it either. Is there anyway I can remove it?

I've looked up "DSO exploit" on Google, and found this information, which should help in some way . . .

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

That's good to know, thanks. I was about to just ZIP my hard drive and load it onto 10 or so CDs and just delete them from the registry, at least that saved me the trouble.
