(LOTR) The Return of the King rules them all

The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King, winning all the awards that it was nominated for.
> news report from New Zealand Herald

Better than Titanic
Return of the King matched the record of 11 wins set by Titanic and Ben-Hur, but it's the 3rd movie to win every nominated category, following Gigi and The Last Emperor.

Sadly, Kiwi actress Keisha Castle-Hughes missed out on Oscar for best actress, which could be the youngest actress to win Best Actress award.

I haven't seen any of the movie series "Lord of the Rings."
I have read one of J.R.R. Tolkien's books, I forget the name, something about 'Dungeons and Dragons' years ago, in the seventies I believe.
I wasn't impressed and never read another one. Just not up my alley.

As for Keisha not winning, well she is very young and probably will be in movies for years to come. If she is any good, she will probably win, if the Stars are bright that night or the Moon is full, perhaps. :P

Look at my handsome, well used to be soooo handsome, still is a little, Paul Newman.
How many times has he been nominated and never won?
He is a "wonderful" (IMHO) actor and it's too bad he has gotten older,
which of course is inevitable!

I'm not surprised by Apple being featured in credits of a major movie... Most places I've been, where encoding is needed, ther has been a Mac doing the work. I wonder why..
