"My Netscape" is stuck on December 30th - HELP!

Postby mylan » Mon 06 Jan, 2003 3:34 pm

I have tried everything - cache/history and everything in between. My date and time are correct on my computer, so that is not the problem. I have tried signing in and out - nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks~

I looked at the page just now, and yes, I am also seeing December 30, 2002, 7:30 PM EST. It looks like one of Netscape's servers is having a problem.

Clicking the Reload button, refreshes the page, with the current date and time.

I'm sure Netscape must have servers around the world, if anything, to even out the load on the servers.

It would appear that one of them is not working correctly, and perhaps that bad server is the one you're reaching all of the time.

step 1:find whether it is a problem about your NS7
method:download a *.zip version Phoenix, navigate to My Netscape, see if the problem still exist, if yes, goto step2, if no,reinstall your NS7 or upgrade to NS 7.01, make a clear install if possible

step 2: maybe you can try to change your time zone setting?

P.S. Mine works well, now it's Monday, January 06 7:33 PM EST , and will change when reload.

It is not doing it for me at 11:12 EST. I accessed it from the Netscape home page ( http://home.netscape.com ) and, I clicked on My Netscape. But , My Netscape has been known to do wacky things. Like IT forgot the saved password, not I, so it offered to mail it to me.
