Tokyo's Takadanobaba district will start using Astro Boy currency this week, ABC News (Australia) reports.

Astro Boy's strength was measured in horsepower and therefore 1 horsepower of the currency will be equivalent to 1 yen.

The bills come in denominations of 10, 100 and 200 horsepower.

Well, I don't watch Astro Boy, but I am sure the main female character in Astro Boy is not called Astro Girl. ('ve been asked in a trivial :lol:

)
