Today is the 7th day of the 7th month or the year two thousand and 7. Live Earth concert ticked on in Sydney's Moore Park. The number 7 is considered lucky by many, the auspicious date of 07/07/07 has been billed by some as the "most popular wedding date ever". (news.) One couple engaged on 06/06/06 and decided to get married on this lucky day.

Meg Hornbrook of Killara (NSW, Australia) celebrates her birthday today, 77th birthday. She invited 77 guests, and started at 7pm, of course.


If you are Chinese, you might consider 8.08.08 (8th Aug 2008) is even luckier. It is said the 2008 Beijing Olympics will open on that day.
