1985, Co-founders Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs separately leave.

1991, QuickTime multimedia debuts.

1997, Steve Jobs returns as interim CEO.

1998, iMac says hello.

1999, iBook releases.

2000, Steve Jobs resumes as full-time CEO; PowerMac G4 Cube releases.

2001, Apple introduces the iPod.

2002, flat-panel iMac releases.
