I have installed a Java applet based chatroom on a non-public page
of the Club Netscape website, but it doesn't always seem to want to
co-operate with the Sun Java 2 plugin installed in Netscape/Mozilla,
so I've not yet decided whether I want to keep it or not. If anyone
would like to test it, to see if it works on their machines, please
send me a message via the forum's private messaging facility,
and I'll send you the URL of the chatroom. I don't want it to go
public yet, until I'm 100% confident that it's working correctly.

If it's working ok on everyone else's computers, and quits messing
me around on my own system, then I'll officially launch it as a new
feature for "Club Netscape" in the new year, possibly next month.

In the meantime, let's have our end of year chat in the SillyDog701
chatroom. At least we know that that one works satisfactorily for us!

What time and day do you think this chat will take place? If it's New Year's eve, I expect to be having a private chat with a beautiful woman.... sorry guys....

Don't worry, something will soon be arranged that should be convenient for all or most of us.

With the dates fixed as shown, I should be able to be online unless something comes up.

The set time (for me, Saturday at 7 PM) is before I escape the cold here in Ohio by going south to Florida (probably with no computer). Later in the month would be worse, but don't let me change your plans.

Am I correct in assuming that in Perth (GMT+8) the chat will be at 8am on the Sunday 22nd of December? (sorry, but my time conversion isnt the best)

So Perth (Western Australia I assume) does not have daylight saving?
8AM sounds right.
