Brigitte,
it is impossible to steer anyone in right direction with such erratic occurrences.
You asked a question earlier, and you asked about looking up the passwords. It can be done from the password manager|show passwords
I just turn it on long enough to verify if I have entered the correct password, and then turn the feature off.
But, your case is beyond my comprehension.
But, you mentioned earlier Netscape versions.
Ramona says that it is ok to remove other versions. There is no contradiction unless you point it out to me. But, you have to check what Alice said. It is very important if you have multiple installations.
You are concerned about the program. That is the least of your problems. If you, somehow, have multiple installations of Netscape, but only one profile, that is almost certainly the source of your problem.
