7.01 makes a font switch in mail?

Postby Doc Duck » Thu 09 Jan, 2003 7:36 am

When I copy a web adress (or any other web page text) from Netscape 7.01 and paste it into a Eudora 5.1 mail, this pasted text appears in the mail in a surprisingly big font size and swithed font.

In Netscape 7.0 the font and the font size was smoothly like the rest of the text in the mail. But in Netscape 7.01 it looks as if I scream out my copied and pasted things.

Is this font switching a bug in Netscape 7.01, or need I change any setting somewhere now in netscape 7.01. If this is a bug then I think I will go back to using 7.0.

I use Macintosh PBG4 OS 9.1.1.[/b]

I doubt it is the way you copy it.

I don't know if there is something unusual in MacIntosh, but, in Windows. using Streamlined 7.01, the one test I did looked normal. In my test, I , first selected the URL, from the location bar, and context-clicked/copy. Then I went to Eudora 5.2, context-clicked/paste in a blank e-mail. The font size was the same that I have for Eudora, and it came out as a nice link.
