while mourning 'death' of NS, I am hangong on to it as long as.....

I have xp, IE6. can't get windows to use NS as default mail app for mailto: links in IE. i have set it up in

Set Program access and Defaults
Filetypes URl:mailto
in the NS setup

is my OS bugged??

Have you gone to NS Mail, Edit, Preferences and click on the box that makes NS your default email client?

yes. i have done all the obvious steps that should have worked!!

but this is making me nuts. i am on a quest to fix this!!!

any ideas??
