7.1 Mail "Frame" Settings

Postby Strobe » Thu 09 Oct, 2003 7:22 am

Gday,
I have just installed Netscape 7.1, and done some wierd stuff with my profile, which results in the fact that im not using my orig prefs files.
The problem I am now having is when I set up the size of the frames and the fields/columns shown, the next time I start Netscape the settings have reverted to normal.
Anyone got a fix?
Thanks

Helps when XUL.MFL, PREFS.JS, PREFS.BAK files aren't set to read only.
Hope this helps someone in the future...

If your files are as read only, they must have been saved on a disk and copied from there. The xul.mfl file can be deleted, and will be recreated.
As for the pref files, if you are using a saved file, sooner or later you will run
into some problem, unless your preferences are identical to the content of the file.
