7.2; bad smtp

Postby lillette » Fri 09 Jun, 2006 5:17 pm

Though Receive was working recently, it "suddenly" (according to the boss lady) quit sending from the SMTP account for her ISP. I had set up that email account as bounce66@comcast.net, then four others as xxx@rockymtllamas.com. Instead of sending from bounce66@comcast.net, it's attempting to send from bounce66@rockymtllamas.com. (Receive on the Comcast account still works just fine.) I checked each mail account Edit>Mail & Newsgroups, but could find nothing that indicates the incorrect sending address. Any suggestions on where to find and fix that?

BTW, I just went into the rockymtllamas account and added a bounce66@rockymtllamas.com, and set up an email account in Netscape with that info. Don't know yet if it works.

Thanks,

L'illette

Lillette,

If your latest edit doesn't work, then try these troubleshooting guidelines:
Can't Send Mail.
