7.2 email printing problem

Postby Blurondo » Thu 16 Jun, 2005 1:33 pm

I'm using an HP Deskjet 5150 printer and Windows XP o.s. I normally print everything using a portrait view, however, each time I reopen the email program, the print view has switched to landscape. Unless I remember to manully open the "properties" and change the view, the print job comes out wrong and needs to be redone. Why won't this setting stay the way I left it when I exit email? How can I correct this irritating problem?
Thank you.

It is a DeskJet setup problem. I have, also, a HP, and if you click on the Printer (throughControl Panel or other ways)|Printing Preferences|Basics and you select what you want, then Apply, the change should remain. In fact, after making the change, and clicking apply, you will keep the same setting, until you make a change. But, if you don't select Apply nothing happens.
