Here's version "2.1" -> it's the same as version 2, but it has added sound effects. http://puto.mozfaq.org/701Mania/701mania-episode2.1.mp3

Here is the transcript to episode 2:

Code: Select all
Pu7o: Hello, and welcome once again to 701Mania. I am once again your host, Pu7o. In today's show we have 3 contestants hoping to win another grand prize. beanboy89, show us what our contestants are playing for.
beanboy89: Well, Pu7o, today's prize is a trip to Steve Jobs' house. You can't go in, but you can break in and steal Mac OS X when he isn't looking
Antony: That's unethical!
Pu7o: Antony, go away. You are not a contestant on this show. Now, for our contestants:
Pu7o: First, we have the controversial Ronnie Williams.
Ronnie: Hello, my name is Ronnie, but you can just call me God.
Pu7o: Then we have our Good Friend, Mr. Jay Garcia.
Jay: Hello, I am Jay Garcia.
Pu7o: And finally, we have the ban-dodging izanbardprince.
Ryan: Hello, I am izanbardprince, I mean ComradeXP, I mean Petey, I mean ryantologyistheway, I mean... whatever.
----
Pu7o: Question 1 -> What was the first version of Mac OS X to be publically available for Intel-based computers?
*buzz*
Pu7o: izanbardprince?
izanbardprince: I refuse to answer questions about such overpriced junk.
Pu7o: Incorrect.
*buzz*
Pu7o: Ronnie Williams?
Ronnie: It was version 10.4.1.
Pu7o: Correct.
----
Pu7o: Question 2 -> Was Antony ever banned from UFAQ.org?
*buzz*
Pu7o: DrDean, I mean, Mr. Jay Garcia?
Jay: No, he was not. You are so annoying!
Pu7o: Incorrect.
*buzz*
Pu7o: Ronnie Williams?
Ronnie: This is not fair. This show is cheated. You are actually Antony in disguise, like with the Admin account.
----
Ronnie: Right, that's it. I am calling the FBI, and it is going to confiscate the 701Mania stage.
Pu7o: Oh god not the FBI. Somebody is knocking at the door, oh god it must be the FBI.
Jay: Everybody, run quick!
izanbardprince: Oh god, the FBI is shooting and throwing Molotov Cocktails, and now the stage is on fire!
Pu7o: Oh no, that was precisely what I was trying to avoid, now the stage on fire, oh god my skin is melting it burns, oh the pain and we are all dead. And that concludes today's show!

A transcript of episode 101 (I use a different numbering scheme for my episodes to prevent confusion):

[tt]Host: Hello, and welcome to 701Mania. I am your host, Andrew, filling in for Pu7o, who is not here today because he is rumored to be suffering from death. In today's show, we have three contestants hoping to win yet another grand prize...somewhere.
DJGM: I found it! We're out of iBoxers, but we can give away the cardboard box last show's prize came in!
Host: That's good to know. Now, today I'd like to talk about a good book I have, the Book of Mozilla. It's a great thing to read, detailing how Netscape and Mozilla will ultimately rise to prominence and the followers of Mammon will cower in terror. A lot of Gecko-based browsers have descended from Netscape...Firefox, SeaMonkey, and Camino, to name but a few. But let's not waste any time; here are our guests! Our first contestant:
Host: Your name?
Antony: I am Antony Shen. You remember me from last time. I love using my Mac and watching Desperate Housewives...
Host: Our show will be structured differently today. *buzz* What Gecko-based browser in the Book of Mozilla do you use most often?
Antony: I use our beloved Safari.
Host: Uh...Safari is not a Gecko-based browser.
Antony: It's Gecko-like!
Host: You do realize that Safari competes against everything your website endorses, don't you?
Antony: That doesn't matter. The user interface is so beautiful.
Host: Uh...anyway, here's our next contestant:
Izanbardprince: I won't reveal my identity. I'm from Indiana, and I hate you. I want the truth to be revealed, you overpriced junk-user.
Host: Now, Izanbardprince, this is an internationally syndicated program. It would pay to be nicer. Now, *buzz* what Gecko-based browser do you use most often?
Izanbardprince: I'm plenty nice! I don't want you to repress me, pig-face. And my name's not Izanbardprince, it's ComradeXP...I mean Petey. Anyway, I use Internet Explorer 6. It's plenty fast, and its standards-support rocks. If I really HAVE to use any Gecko-based browser, it would be Mozilla Firefox, although it takes forever and a day to start up on even a REALLY fast system.
Host: How fast is your system, Petey...I mean Mud?
Izanbardprince: Don't get smart with me, fart boy. It's an Intel Celeron D 2.93 GHz system with 2 GB of RAM; everything flies on that baby, except for everything Mozilla-related. When I start Firefox I drum my fingers like I was waiting on a Pentium 90 to open Microsoft Office...
[Ryan is overpowered by the audience's boos and is dragged out the door]
Host: Ha ha ha! I guess we're down to two contestants. Antony, of course, and you.
Host: Would you like to introduce yourself?
Jay: I am Jay Garcia, the only bastion of what is moral and right in this world.
Host: *buzz* Well Jay, what Gecko-based browser do you use most often?
Jay: Easy question: Netscape 8.1. It does everything everyone wants a browser to do in the way everyone wants it to be done, and it's all mine.
Antony: Mine too. I posted the original announcement on my website, and I use it on the Windows systems I have access to.
[The entire audience laughs]
Jay: Why are you on this show, Antony? I don't want you around.
Host: Now, don't do anything drastic!
Antony: I will not use Mozilla or Firefox on my beloved Mac, however, because it does not comply with Apple's beloved human interface guidelines. I've complained about this on the Netscape newsgroups, but they turn a blind eye. They don't care about us.
Jay: You should have just posted that on my website.
Antony: I would have, but you didn't let me. You wanted me to eat sh#t and be decapitated on a pole.
Jay: Now, you don't understand. You are always welcome here. I'd never do anything like that, except to degenerates, communists, M-A-C users, trespassers in my newsgroup, and people who won't give me money.
Host: What do you need people to give you money for?
Jay: The New Garcia Island Condo...er, (heh heh) Garcia House Rebuilding fund.
Host: Because of the hurricane, I surmise? Sounds like a worthy cause. You know, you remind me a lot of an individual I once met. Doctor Dean was the name. Looked just like you.
Jay: Oh, I don't know who that man is! Sounds like some misunderstanding!
Host: Had a nice chat with him, although he was totally noncommittal. But he did give me his card: "Dr. Jay 'Dean' Garcia, Member of New Orleans bureau, Lying Jokers of America."
Jay: That's a lie!
Host: Um, Mr. Garcia, I sent this to the FBI and the fingerprints found on the card were proven to be yours.
Jay: Ah...Ah...You have all made me very angry, and you have chosen the wrong individual to anger! My goons will open fire on you, you pervert! Chris! CHARGE! [Cue a constant scream of machine gun shots and explosions]
Audience (alternately): Eek! Eek! Aaah! Run...run! The exit! Help! Help! Save me! Save me! Yow! Ow! Damn you! I'm being trampled! My intestines are falling out!
Host: Uh...well I guess we didn't get to give away our prize today after all! See you next time, as usual![/tt]

Want to have my real voice in the production instead of the voice of Professor Stephen Hawking?!?
;-)

PM me with a transcript and I'll give it a go!

You most likely won't be getting any voice samples from here either, unless you don't mind the loss attributed with streaming it over a cellphone to my laptop's modem. (Trust me, you wouldn't like how it sounds.)

I, neither, will be able to provide any audio samples, as I don't have a microphone on my PC. I suppose I could record audio onto my MP3 player, then transfer it to my computer, but I have no idea how it would turn out since I've never recorded anything with it.

I tried opening this, but I'm getting a 404 / File Not Found Error when doing so. Did something happen to the file since it was uploaded? :?

I had removed it from the server after a couple weeks primarily to save space, but have temporarily uploaded it again. :)

All right, then - I was just wondering about that, that's all :)

I just listened to yours now while reading the transcript for it, and it's pretty funny too, especially how Izanbardprince and Jay sound
