You obviously answered the question incorrectly.

701Mania - The Game has been ported to java!

What does this mean? It means...

 Universal Binary support on Intel-based Macs!
 It's about 10% the size of the original REALbasic version!
 It can run on platforms not supported by REALbasic!

Download links:

:dl: Mac OS X DMG
:dl: EXE Wrapper, untested
:dl: Raw .jar file

Enjoy it

The EXE wrapper apparently only works with Java 1.4. Otherwise I get this:

along with a download link to Java. This could be an x64-specific thing, I don't know for sure.

The raw .jar works fine.

That is weird. I set the minimum java version in launch2j to 1.4.0, and set no maximum. It should have just worked. Oh well, let me try to find another similar program to embed a .jar in an executable.

Both the .exe and the .jar file work for me...

Are you using a 32-bit or a 64-bit JRE? If the launcher is 32-bit (which I'd presume it is), then it'd probably be looking for a 32-bit JRE.

701Mania - The Game version 0.2 is now available!

This version has several improvements to the original version!

1. The 50/50 help. For those that never saw "Who wants to be a millionaire?", the 50/50 help removes two of the three wrong answers, therefore allowing you a much higher chance of getting the correct answer. You can only use the 50/50 help once during the whole game.

2. The Random help. The random help replaces the current question with one on the same level. Similar to the 50/50 help, it can only be used once.

3. The order of the answers is now random; You can get the same question twice, with a different order for the answers.

4. There is an easter egg in the game when using Ronnie Williams' original nickname. You'll have to see it for yourselves :P (None of the helps can be used on Ronnie mode)

Since the .exe gave some problems to x64 users, I decided that it's better to not create a .exe for now. I'm sure everybody who's actually interested on this knows how to run a .jar anyway...

Due to a mistake, I accidentally lost the source code to the 701Mania Game, meaning that I will have to re-write it. And during the rewrite, an interesting question came up when talking about the Mac version.

Which one do you think would be the best look for the 701Mania game?

Aqua, like Preview?
Image

Brushed Metal, like Safari?
Image

Unified, like Mail?
Image

Or Polished Metal, like iTunes?

There are also Java's look-and-feels, although they'd look way too off in Mac OS X:

The Java look-and-feel (codename Metal):

The ugly-as-hell Motif look-and-feel:

And the so-called GTK look-and-feel, which kinda reminds me of Windows Classic:

It took me quite a while to load this screenshot. But I guess I shouldn't complain, since PNG is OSS extremists' choice, regardless of file size (92KB)
