a small java question

Postby Tron » Wed 22 Oct, 2003 8:49 pm

under istalled software i seem to have 2 versions of
java runtime enviroment 2.

They are: SE v1.4.1_02 (1.71MB)
and: SE v1.4.1_01 (106.00MB)

Is the 1.4.1_02 an update or can I safely uninstall this without losing functionallity?

Might be a dumb question but I just wanne be sure.

If you wish to be up to date regarding Java, then you should deinstall both of them and install Java 1.4.2, which can be downloaded from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html .
