Acer Aspire 5100 DVD Driver

I have taken My notebook to Staples where I have bought it since I have wrranty . the DVD Driver doesn't work they said is a software issue and I have to call acer ask for Acer DVD rum driver I called them and they said to go to a website which is not exit , I am not too smart in computer and I need help to fix this problem if any one had that issue before .
