Adblocker in Netscape 6.2

Postby Don_HH2K » Sun 20 Jun, 2004 4:28 pm

Is it possible to add the Adblocker.xpi (the one found at http://ufaq.org/files/adblocker.xpi ) into Netscape 6.2 and get ad-blocking functionality?

I doubt it, since that file was specifically made for Netscape 7.0 to reactivate the
ad-banner blocker from Mozilla 1.0, that had been deactivated by AOL/Netscape.

There's no harm in trying it though . . .

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!
