Postby Ghostman 1 » Sun 03 Nov, 2002 7:47 pm

Hi :
I think I might have a problem, My add/remove programs are gone.
I went into add/remove programs and there is nothing there.
I ran AVG and it came back clean,Also ran Ad aware and it came back clean as well. Does anyone have any Ideas On what may cause this, and how to fix it? :( Thanks for any help..

Do you have TweakUI (or PowerToys) installed?
If you have it (free from Microsoft), and you can get into it and get the Add/Remove icon re-appear from the Control Panel)

Hi Antony:
No I don't have TweakUi or a tweak Utillity..I am running windows 98 SE and
I just checked out the TweakUI site and I am not to sure that TweakUi will work with windows 98 SE. Is there another Tweak utillity that will work?
The main Icon Pops up ,But under add/remove programs It is just Blank.
All white no programs listed. Is this a Virus?

That's good.
I was thinking that you might have some third party programme that 'hides' the programmes from the list.
