address book url

Postby bbjones14 » Sun 05 Jun, 2005 1:18 pm

I recently downloaded Nescape 8.0.1 and found that I need to enter the address book URL in order to set up my comcast account. Comcast does not support Netscape, as it is owed in part by Microsoft. does any one know what I need to do?

Thanks.

Two errors:1. Netscape is "completely" owned by AOL, not by Microsoft.
2. You are trying to set up your Comcast account as a Webmail, instead of using your default mail client to link up to.
You question has come up, repeatedly, in different forms, and the answer is that NS8 is a browser only. You may be able to set up traditional Webmails, like Netscape(@netscape.net), Yahoo, Hotmail(may be), etc., but you should keep using your mail client, whatever it is, and have a link to it from View|Customize| drag and drop system mail, whereverit it is. That's all the work you need to do in NS8.
