ads.doubleclick.net

I only get this message using NS 7.01, no problem with 4.8 - just irritating because I have to click 'ok' sometimes 4 or 5 times before I can get rid of that box and resume reading the page. Anybody else have this going on? Remedy?
I have pop-ups disabled, but just to see, I allowed pop-ups, same thing happens. Cable connection.

This was talked about in a recent thread, as well as in the netscape secnews servers. If you are doing something to block ad.doubleclick.net you will get this error. There seems to be no way to avoid it in Netscape 7, but I have noticed that I do not get the error anymore in the latest Mozilla nightly builds, so it may someday go away in a future version of Netscape.

There are a couple of ways you might have your machine setup to block it (actually, probably more than a couple, but these are two I know of).
1 - have your "hosts" file setup to route ad.doubleclick.net to 127.0.0.1
2 - have ad.doubleclick.net completely blocked via a firewall (MY way).
