After checking e-mail Netscape can't access web

Postby triton » Sat 04 Sep, 2004 11:15 pm

I can't seem to find an answer using search. I am using Netscape 7.1 and Windows XP. As long as I don't check my e-mail I can browse the web just fine. If I check my e-mail (I can send and recieve) and go back to surf the web nothing happens, to fix this I have to reboot. I remember a simular problem like this but I can't find it. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks

If you set up Netscape Webmail, and you have to Empty Trash on exit, in the server settings, it will lock up. Uncheck that box, in the Mail and News Settings, and the problem will go away.
This problem has been around since day one, and they never fixed. If it is it, please, send a Feedback, from the Help|Feedback.
The best way to set up Webmail is to uncheck everything.
