Is it possible to add the AIM into opera, like just have the program itself start inside of opera, rather than a separate window.

Really, cuz I just wonder how they get everything else in there. I mean Opera strikes me alot like AOL. AOL got everything in there. Any more suggestions maybe?

well aol hasn't made aim free source, and no one has coded a protocall for it (atleast in C), so no, they could make there own messanger however. or intigrate an irc client which i know alot of people would like.

Would it be impossible to change the IM that came with Opera to log on to the AIM Network?

Opera previously included an instant messaging client that worked with AIM's sister service, ICQ, but it is no longer included.
