Recently I downloaded the trial version of Office 2003, which is good for sixty days, and I decided to see if I could get more like sixty years out of the trial by setting the computer's date to the year 2099, which believe it or not did work. Even though it didn't work, I did find out that somebody really planned ahead in XP's Windows Explorer.
Well well... Sometime this millennia, eh? Maybe they actually
expect some family to use the same old computer for 1000 years? Ah well, that goes to show you how little the devs at MS have to do.
