'Bling-bling' will soon be entered into the Oxford English Dictionary.
'Bling-bling' is from a hip-hop jargon then a slang. It was coined in 1999 in a song "Bling-Bling" by B.G., it means big showy jewelry. It "sets off alarms at airports and goes bling when it collides with other bling."
BTW, it's not just as a noun, it's a verb and adjective!
