Browser previews in DW MX 04

Postby funnyguy » Thu 06 Jan, 2005 12:12 pm

I'm new to this subject of web designing and I want to know about what to download to add to my browser preview list. The full version of Netscape 7 or the stand alone. I had an error in my page "onload attribute of img tag not supported in Net Nav 7". There was no tag there and I don't believe there needs to be an event after loading the page so should I just ignore that?

I would just ignore that. Or if you want, check the code to see where that [tt]onLoad[/tt] was used.

Thanks Antony. That's what I suspected because it was in the navigation bar image's code.

I see you're from Aussie land. I know a cartoonist named Pete Broelman who does editorial cartoons down there. I also have a bunch of greeting cards just out from the Ink Group in Australia and New Zealand. Just look for the Collins sig in the corner of mine.

The standalone (base) version of Netscape 7.2 should be fine. The extra features present in the full version (such as the mail/newsgroup component, included plugins, and odds and ends such as third-party software) will probably not be needed if testing and previewing web pages is all you intend to do.
