Can anyone help me?

Postby mls21 » Sat 01 Nov, 2003 1:23 pm

I opened a netscape account @ work because I had no computer. I just got one which runs windows 2000. How can I save & transfer my netscape messages into Outlook Express? I have tried importing them but no success. Is netscape mail an POP3, IMAP or HTTP server? Also what do I enter when asked this question? Thanks.

Netscape.net email accounts are actually not POP3, IMAP or HTTP - they are a proprietry format - you need to use a copy of Netscape 7 or 7.1 to access those emails in Netscape Mail, as Outlook Express can't. Although if you just want basic email in Outlook Express, you could just sign up at Hotmail and use that email address in Outlook Express.
