Can CCK contain other items?

Postby Edward » Thu 20 Mar, 2003 7:40 pm

Under the CCK licenses, can a Netscape CCK contain items from mozilla.org, mozdev, etc., or must a CCK have Netscape-only components?

The CCK liscence generally states that you cannot remove certain things, like the search tab from the "My Sidebar", and hey, who cares wether we use Mozilla, Official Netscape, Streamline, Opera, Compact or DJGM-i Distros? Its all non IE! :D

I only asked because Compact contains some non-Netscape things such as a calendar, and the Home button on the toolbar.

Edward, you can have all sort of non-Netscape, but Mozilla things.

You can include various compatible Mozilla add-ons, to CCK'd builds of Netscape 7.x,
as long as you make all the relevant edits to the config.ini file in your Output folder,
and also add the XPI files of the add-ons you want to include to the same folder.
