Greetings --

There is an error (a gross one, I'd say) with the Helper Applications Menu in Netscape 7.01.

It will allow you to specify an app to handle a specific extension - but then you cannot edit or delete your entry!

Please help me if you can!

Also, if I want Netscape to handle audio WAV and MP3 files thru WINAMP, I'd like to know what to type in the description, extension and MIME fields.

Apparently, I had some type of corruption somewhere. I completely uninstalled and deleted all my Netscape stuff (saved bookmarks and mail info though) then re-installed Netscape 7.01

EUREKA! We're in Business! The re-install seems to have corrected the problem.

Don't let this stop you from offering comments, advice, etc.
