I've never carve a pumpkin in my life.
We don't officially observe Halloween Day here in Australia, but you know the shops would try their best to make you spend money.

No Hallowe'en, Antony? Interesting. I guess I just assumed it was pretty much universal. Well... it's over now for another year.

I was doing window shopping in Westfield Parramatta (one of the largest shopping centres in Sydney) just few days before Halloween. Although gift shops and toy shops all decorated and stocked with Halloween items, I did not see many people really buying the Halloween items.

I noticed a few things:
(1) the shopping centre is relatively quiet (compared to usual);
(2) most people window shop in the mall without any shopping bags on their hands.

(I know I am bad, I have started my Christmas shopping already.)

Good observations, Antony. Now that I think about it, I've noticed the same thing. And yes... you are very bad to get the jump on the rest of us on your Christmas shopping. :P
