When Windows boots up, the CD-RW drive is still identified as drive E, when it should really be drive D.
Is there a way to change the drive letter? In Windows 9X there was, however I am not able to find the same setting in XP.
. It must stand for something, but I don't know what.compmgmt.msc
, I get Disk Management|Storage|Removable Drive|Media or Libraries. I see the removable drive of interest, but no way to change the letter.compmgmt.msc
, except that after getting to Administrative Tools, there is no Computer Management, nor anything else.# Log on as Administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
# Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Performance and Maintenance.
# Click Administrative Tools, double-click Computer Management, and then click Disk Management in the left pane.
