Chrome (iOS) has 1.4% share in less than 1 month

According to reports from Chitika Labs and TechCrunch, Google's recently released iOS version of its Chrome web browser has earned 1.4 percent of iOS mobile browser market.

On iOS platform (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad), Chrome has been seen as the first legitimate contender to Apple's (Mobile) Safari, the default browser that is included in iOS.

Well done Google.

I downloaded it about a week ago and now use it as my default browser on my ipad2. It's much better than Safari, in my view.

The voice search on Chrome (on iPad) is pretty interesting in my opinion. I somehow don't use iPhone 4S' Siri much.

For Android, the OS has to be at least ICS. Will not work on Gingerbread or Froyo.

But I always thought the built-in browser was Chrome in some way on G'bread and Froyo.
