Club Netscape NOW OPEN!

Postby DJGM » Mon 04 Nov, 2002 10:50 am

Hi all . . .

I'm pleased to announce that after some several weeks of interior maintenance,
the Club Netscape website is now officially open again. The main attraction of
the newly revamped site, are the exclusive new DJGM-i Distros of Netscape 7!
Also new, is a page featuring recommended 3rd party add-ons for Netscape 7,
a Security Advisory for visitors using MS Internet Explorer, plus the already
opened Club NS Message Board, replacing the old clubsite @ Yahoo Groups.

Coming soon to Club Netscape, we'll have our own "My Sidebar" tab that you
can add to your Netscape 6/7 and/or Mozilla sidebar, an selection of Mozilla
screengrabs from different operating systems. Plus, an expanded section of
links dedicated to NS and Moz related websites, called Club NS Bookmarks.

Existing areas we've kept are the "If You're Using IE . . ." section, featuring
info on how to remove IE from most versions of Windows, plus details of the
secret hidden logfiles if Internet Explorer and Outlook/Outlook Express. Also,
the ongoing webpoll "MSIE - What's Your Verdict" is still around, if you wish
to vote of whether you think Microsoft Internet Explorer is good or bad.
(Unforutnately for MS, as I write this, it's currently 71% against IE!)

So, that's it . . . go to the new look Club Netscape now, have a look around
download a distro or three, but above all else, enjoy my weeks of hard work!

Thanks for your attention,

Best Regards,
DJGM aka Greg Mitchell
Founder of Club Netscape

Previous mesage . . .
Hello all,

I pleased to announce that the Club Netscape website will be officially reopening this Thursday.

The main attraction will of course be the long awaited, exclusive DJGM-i Distros of Netscape 7.0!
These will be available in three top notch editions - Full-On, Pigeon and Lite. You'll have to come
and visit the Club Netscape website from this Thursday to find out what each edition has to offer!

At the moment, the DJGM-i Distros are for Windows only, but if anyone would like to help
me to create builds for Macintosh and Linux platforms, let me know either on this message
board or via the email address I set up earlier this year for the Club Netscape website.

If you haven't visited Club Netscape yet, bookmark the URL: http://djgm-i.net/clubnetscape/ !

Best Regards, DJGM
Club Netscape founder.
