If the history.mab file is there...
Close Netscape and disable Quick Launch (if it is enabled)
Open Notepad
Click on File|Open, and browse to prefs.js
Open the file and look for this script:
user_pref("ldap_2.servers.history.filename", "history.mab");
If it isn't there, then add it to the file, click save, and close.
Open Netscape and check he Address Book again.
The only other recourse would probably be to Uninstall and upgrade to Netscape 7.0, using a new Profile. Netscape 6.x is obsolete, full of bugs, and I can assure you that you will continue to have numerous problems with the 6.x version. Back up all your Profile information before uninstalling 6.2.
