Computer calendar

Postby oigle 1 » Sat 12 Jan, 2008 4:55 pm

I have always used Microsoft Outlook for its calendar but have had issues with Outlook's mail feature competing with my preferred mail handler - Outlook Express.
I have just purchased a laptop as an extra computer and need to install a calendar on it. Do you have any recommendations for a calendar - preferably free!! - with similar qualities to Outlook but without the other features that may give problems.
Thanks

Lightning is an extension for Thunderbird and will integrate into it. Sunbird has similar features but is a standalone program.

Thanks. Sunbird looks interesting. Will try it.

Go with Sunbird. It will most likely have more support than an extension for Thunderbird.
