Keith,

Antony is referring to the entry level Apple Macintosh machine, the eMac, which currently
retails in Canada at $1049. That very same machine costs about £549 here in the UK.

In a way, that's understandable if you're still stuck with using Mac OS 9.x or lower. Once you
get using Mac OS X (from v10.2.x upwards) you'll know how good Apple Macs really can be!

I actually was considering trying a mac. i am currently on a mac at this moment, but do not own one. I have another computer to add to the comparision i forgot about. i will add tonight. Its even cheraper yet, but seems fairly decent, and i know the owners of the computer store, and they have given us good service and reliable computers in the past. and when i get that other computer specs up, i would appreiciate some more feed back in comparison of the 3. I realize the more you spend the better it is, but i am lookin at computer for the money, not the more yha spend the more ya get. Since i am on a budget, but still want something fast and suitable.

i will post the specs tonight, as for i am not home at the moment, and can't remember all the details

Copied from first post for easy comparision

Heres the first one $1499.......
Senix Arrow 2600 DV

AMD Athlon XP 2600+
512 MB PC3200 DDR Memory
160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Hard drive
DVD +/RW Drive
6-in- Media card reader
NVIDEA G-FORCE 5900 128 MB Video with TV-out
6 channel audio support
3 piece speakers with subwoofer
10/100 BaseT Network adapter
USB 2.0 and IEEE-1394 (??) fire wall ports
Microsoft Multimedia keyboard
Optical wheel mouse
Mirosoft Words suit
Norton antivirus 2004
backed with a 3 year warrenty ( at a reliable local business in hy hometown)

Ok, heres the little bit cheaper one, for $1199........

Senix Arrow 2600x

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ pro
512MB PC 2700 DDR Memory
80 GB 7200 RPM Hard drive
DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive
ATRI Radeon 9200 128 MB Video with TV out
6 channel audio support
3 piece speakers with subwoofer
10/base T Network adapter
YSB 2.0 ports
Mulitimedia keyboard
Windows XP home
Antivirus
Microsoft works suite
3 year warreny

Now heres a cheaper mcomputer, for $899.99. Now, what i hate about this one is that its got shared ram for the video card or somethin. Extra ram costs $90.00 that was a big turn down for me....

AMD Athlon XP 2400+ pro
256 MB PC 32-- DDR memory
80 GB hard drive
DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive
64 MB dynamic video emmory
6 channel audio support
2 piece speakers
10/100 Base Network adapter
USB 2.0 ports
Microsoft media Keyboard
Windows XP home
Microsoft windows suite
Antivirus
3 year warerety

Ok, i know its cheaper and all. Like i said before, i am talking bang for the money, cause we all know the 1400 one is way better.
