Confused on my first -- now second -- post

I am a new member, just registering with username and password, and posted a new topic. However, I don't think my post made it to the forum because I received a message "...username is taken..." or something like that. This is a test to see if this post gets to the forum. You are ok. It has happened in other board. So, my policy is to register with "itismine" followed by a number. So, if anyone tries an itismine, followed you get that that the username is taken, you know who got it.
