Controlling pop-up windows

Postby easthorton » Wed 06 Nov, 2002 8:08 am

I seem to remember there was something to download in order to get the option of stopping pop-up windows in NS 7. If I remember, you download the software then uncheck a box in Preferences>Advanced>Scripts & Plugins. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Or, http://www.xulplanet.com/downloads/ Read up about the prefbar. It not only takes care of popups(you have to enable it and uncheck the box), but it allow you to manage your cache , memory cache, history, and I think also the location bar.
Once you set up your Preferences, you can forget about going back in, for maintenance, and I have not seen a single popup.
