Customize Netscape 7 for Solaris 8 - CCK tool??

Postby foehner » Sun 06 Apr, 2003 9:53 am

I work in a 3000+ user company that has a private network. Thus, a lot of the default buttons and links don't apply. How do we get those removed or set to be site specific before the user runs Netscape? Also, we'd like to have our company name in the title bar and slap in our own nifty 'animated/static' images. Pretty much, we'd like to have the functionality of the CCK tool that is available for other platforms. Just a pointer to a good doc would be great. We have Netscape 7 that will run on Solaris 8. Thanks - John :?: :?:

If you can get hold of a machine running Windows, you may be able to use the CCK to customise that installation file. I know it works for the Linux installation file, but I wouldn't know for the Solaris one (can't get hold of Solaris).
