Disappearing email addys in NS 6.2

Does anyone have any info on why the email addresses on 2 of our workstations appear to have deleted themselves from Netscape 6.2 (including collected addresses)? Both individuals claim not to have deleted them manually and Mr Norton says there is no virus at work.
Any input would be appreciated.

Files can become corrupted, and address books are part of the Profile. I would tentatively have those individual create new profiles. Set up mail as it was before, and see what happens. Files from the old profile can be copied to the new one, but I would not touch the address book.
