SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

Just to add a small notes.
This is not Streamline from SillyDog701. This is from DJGM's ClubNetscape.
You are welcome to try it out, and ask for more information/support.

Installation went smothly, and I created yet another profile, mainly to test the conversion from 4.8 to 7.01.
I was under the impression that this file had Mail, but, although I went through the motions of registrering and setting up Netscape Webmail, nothing showed up. And, there is no Mail and Newsgroups in the Preferences. But the size of the file was 18+ MB.
Had another glitch when first starting with Alert: file/c:program/Files/netscape/chrome/packages/aim/Sidebar Panel.xul cannot be found. It is a strange message, so I will have to look into it. It did say program/Files.

Follow up: This program did not install neatly, in a folder. It was in the Program Files/Netscape with all the file, and the Communicator folder in the middle of the entire thing. I have been installing the different Netscapes, in folder of their own, so I was not used to this. Anyway, almost 45 min. later, and removal of everything. NS4.8 is the happy and sole possessor of the Netscape folder. And, this preview is installed outside. In spite of all this upheaval, everything seems to be work fine, in spite of the same alert. Sidebar Alert persists, all seems to work, including the Sidebar.
Normally, I hide the Sidebar.

The browser itself seems to render a bit faster - I'm on broadband. I must have read through things hastily however, I missed the bit about no email ???
Gotta have access to my email man. Can still access it via 4.8, just a bit of a surprise and I'm sure it's temporary?
Nice humour interject, doesn't have to be all business all the time. Overall, nice work thusfar DJGM - I sure as hell couldn't have done it!

As this is only a preview release, I've decided to just feature Navigator,
the Java2 and Flash plugins, and the Talkback crash reporting facility.
The Java2 plugin is the very latest version taken from the Sun Java
website.
It is v1.4.1_01, as opposed to the v1.4.0_01 that comes
bundled with official version of Netscape. However, the Flash
plugin is the same as was included in the recent test builds
of NS7.01 that were posted on the Netscape FTP servers,
before the bigwigs at AOL/NS closed the 7.01 folders.

I might make one more preview release before NS7.01 goes gold, but
if it does "go gold" within the next week or so, the next DJGM-i Distros,
will be built upon Netscape 7.01 final, and won't be preview releases.

Overall, it's good that there have been little or no problems so far with
this preview release. Hopefully, the full DJGM-i Distros of Netscape 7.01
will be as equally well received as the preview, if not, even more so . . .
